DAY 1: Arrive  HANOI (D)

Pick up at airport and transfert to hotel, after check in hotel, welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L)

Hanoi City tour Morning: Political area: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Temple of literature, Ethnology museum. Break for lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon: West lake area: Quan Thanh Temple, West Lake roundtrip and some site round the West Lake. The Center: Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple, Old quarter, French quarter (walking or Cyclo
tour).Overnight: Hanoi.

DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)Early this morning, we’ll drive from Hanoi to one of the most magnificent scenic environments in the world, Ha Long Bay. Covering 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. We’ll spend a day and a half, including an overnight with dinner and breakfast onboard, exploring this overwhelming seascape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Comfortable and intimate, your boat features hand-crafted wooden interiors including a dining room and pleasant air-conditioned cabins with private baths. Since we’re overnight on the water, we’ll be able to explore Ha Long Bay’s most beautiful spots with time to swim and even visit some of the largest rock formations and caves. This promises to be one of your most memorable travel experiences in Asia.

DAY 4: HALONG - HANOI TRAIN TO SAPA (B/L)

After breakfast onboard and a full morning in Ha Long Bay, have lunch on the boat after lunch, check out and we return to Hanoi.Tonight 19h30 transfert to train station to Sapa. overnight on the train.

DAY 5: LAO CAI – SAPA – LAO CHAI TA VAN (B/L/D)

Welcome tour group at Lao Cai railway station and transfer to Sapa, high in the Hoang Lien Range of mountain, check in hotel. Breakfast or brunch is served before trekking from hotel to Lao Chai (Black H'mong tribe). Lunch on footpath, near Lao Chai bridge and then trek through Ta Van village (Giay ethnic minority). Return to hotel by Jeep. Free evening.

DAY 6: SAPA – CAT CAT – SILVER WATER FALL (B/LD)

In the morning, trekking to Cat Cat village (Black H’mong tribe). Lunch at the hotel, then transfer to Silver waterfall, nearby Heaven gate by tourist bus. Return to Sapa for dinner. Free evening.

DAY 7: SAPA – LAO CAI TRAIN TO HANOI (B/L/D)

After breakfast, trek to Ham Rong mountain, visit Orchid garden, Traditional ethnic village… Back to hotel for lunch, check out and transfer to the Lao Cai city, visit Upper Temple, Lao Cai international border gate... Dinner at  the restaurant. Overnight on the train.

DAY 8: HANOI – LUANG PRABANG (B/L/D)

Pick up at train station at 5AM, breakfast and shower – bath at hotel. Transfert to airport to fly to Luang Prabang.

Arrive in Luang Prabang and transfer to our hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, we take a sightseeing tour of the sacred city of temples, of which nearly fifty temples still remain in the town and surrounding areas. Visit Wat Visoun, the 16th century temple served as a small museum for religious artifacts; Wat Aham, the early 19th century temple, whose two guardian figures at the foot of the steps which represent two characters from the Ramayana - Hanuman, the Monkey God and a fierce Yaksa; Wat Xiengthong, the 16th century temple which, more than any temples in Luang Prabang, epitomizes all the elegance and grace of Luang Prabang architecture; Phousi Hill, the 328 steps leads to the summit of Phousi hill that dominates the sky-line of Luang Prabang overlooking the finest panoramic view in the whole Luang Prabang.

DAY 9: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVE (B/L/D)

Following breakfast, we depart hotel to the boat landing, and take the boat, upstream on the Mekong to visit Pak Ou cave in the side of a lime stone cliff and opposite of the mouth of the Mekong and Ou rivers. The sanctuaries at Pak Ou consist of two large caves, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images, which range from mere centimeter to two meters in height. En route, Lao typical villages are barely visible behind a screen of foliage. Slender canoes bobbing by the shore, bamboo poles and floats mark the location of nets and fish traps. Our first stop will be at Ban Muangkeo, a well-known village for Lao traditional rice whisky, namely Laoh-Khao to be distilled. We are welcome to taste it and also take away. Lunch is served at a riverside restaurant. We arrive back at Luang Prabang in late afternoon, and continue to drive outskirt of town to visit Ban Xangkhong, a well-known village for its wood paper making and also Lao silk weavings with natural dyes.

DAY 10: LUANG PRABANG – VIENTIANE (B/L/D) 

After breakfast , we visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, and the Central Market are not to be missed.  we visit these sights , this morning before we catch a flight back to Vientiane . Upon arrival , we see the major temples including the oldest Wat Sisaket , a temple of thusands of miniature Budha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image . On the way to the famous , sacred structure of That Luang Stupa , we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument , which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph, sunset by Mekong riverside and late evening , overnight in Vientiane .

DAY 11: VIENTIANE – DEPARTURE (B) 

After breakfast , we visit the Morning Market and the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong ( if time permits) The tour ends after your transfer to Wattay airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.
