Day 1 : Ha Noi -Mai Chau
8h00 Depart from your hotel  to Mai Chau. Stop in Hoa Binh to see the Hydro Electric Central. Continue to Mai Chau, stop over on the way. 13h00 Arrive at Mai Chau.

Afternoon:  Short trekking to  visit Thai village, Ban Van & Ban Lac. Overnight at Pomcong village in  Mai Chau. 

Day 2 : Mai Chau - Son La ( B )

8h00  Depart to Son La. Stop to visit small ethnic hamlets scattering along the way from Yen Chau, Moc Chau (Muong people). Luch on the way. 14h00 Arrive Son La.

Visit  Old Prison of Son La.  Overnight in Son La.

Day 3 : Son La - Lai Chau ( B )
7h30 Breakfast at hotel. Visit the hill-tribe hamlets including the Black Tay, Meo, Muong and White Tay. Van Long pass, Ban Nam Na and other villages in the surroundings). Then depart to Lai Chau. Short walk on the way. Stop to visit Thuan Chau Market on the way. Overnight at Lai Chau.

Day  4 : Lai Chau  Boat trip ( B )
Breakfast at hotel. 8h00 Full day  boat trip along on the Da River and visit minorities villages at  the river banks -  cruising through many verdant valley. 17h00 Return to hotel.  Overnight at Lan Anh hotel in Lai Chau.

Day 5 : Lai Chau - Sin Ho - Pa So( B )
7h30 Drive Lai Chau to Sin Ho . Sightseeing stops on the way for breathtaking scenery. 

16h00 arrive Pa So town. Overnight at Lan Anh hotel in Lai Chau.

Day 6 : Pa So - Sa Pa ( B )
8h00  Depart to Sa Pa. Strolling through the colourful market at Tam Duong early in the morning where you will meet many different ethnic minority communities. After the market, you will head out on another one of Northern Vietnam's most spectacular roads on the way to Sa Pa. Arrive in the old French colonial hill station of Sa Pa late in the afternoon. Free time after check-in until dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 :  Sa Pa - Lao Chai - Ta Van  ( 4 hours trekking, 12 km, 3 villages ) ( B )
Breakfast and relax. Walk around Sapa and then start from Sa Pa at 12:00 PM by jeep to visit a village of the Black H'mong (Lao Chai San). Go though hillsides along Muong Hoa river. Cross the river by a suspension bridge to reach Lao Chai village. Take the paths across the paddy fields to get to the 3rd village of the Dzay minority (Ta Van) and Stay the night at a Dzay family in this village. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family.

Day 8 : Ta Van -Ban Ho  (7 hours trekking, 18 km, 3 villages  ) ( B ) 

Breakfast with the local family and then get to a village located at the foot of Hoang Lien Son range via bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After the village, get down to the river, cross it and keep going to Su Pan village for 2 minorities - The H'mong and the Red Dzao. Get off the road to go down hill to Ban Ho village. Pick up by jeep and return , overnight at hotel in Sa Pa. 

Day 9 : Sa Pa -  Bac Ha ( B )
Depart at 6h00 for Bac Ha. Stop on the way for sightseeing. Visit ethnic hamlets and take photographs. You will have time to visit the houses on stilt of H'Mong, Dzao, minorities in Bac Ha. Overnight in Bac Ha. 

Day 10 : Bac Ha - Ha Noi ( B )
7h00 Return to Ha Noi. More stop on the way. Lunch at Pho Rang town.

17h00 Arrive Ha Noi.
