VIETNAM THE HIDDEN CHARM (13Days - 12Nights)

 

 

Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival ( B, L, D )

Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel. Free time for your relax after a long flight. Dinner and O/N in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Literature Temple dedicated to Confucius, Ethnology museum with a rich object's and photo's collection of minorities' culture. After lunch, visit to: Quan Thanh Temple, West lake and Truc Bach lake. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Duong Lam – Hanoi ( B, L, D )

After breakfast, transfer to Duong Lam ancient village, visit to local families, Mong Phu communal house, Mia Pagoda, Phu mother Queen temple, Phung Hung king Temple, Ngo Quyen king Temple and 1000 year old 'Duoi' tree road. Break for lunch. Afternoon, transfer to Ha Thai lacquer ware villages. Walking in the Village to visit handicraft workshops for learning how to make lacquer ware and choose some souvenir products. Enjoy the village's atmosphere. Back to Hanoi. Dinner and O/N in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Bac Ninh – Hanoi ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Xuan Non, Dong Anh. Visit to Dao Thuc village, enjoy countryside Water puppet show on the village pond and learn to perfom the puppet. Visit to center village's and some artisan families. Continue drive to Bac Ninh City. After lunch, transfer to Cau River dike, take the ferry pass Cau River visit to Tho Ha village, then continue to Diem village. Meet a "Quan Ho" group. Enjoy sessions of "Quan Ho". Back to Hanoi. Dinner and O/N in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hai Phong ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ninh Binh, get in Tam Coc boat station. Take the boat rowing trip on Ngo Dong river in Tam Coc for 2h. Continue to visit Bich Dong pagoda. After lunch drive to Khuoc Village, in Dong Hung Distric, Thai Binh Province. Visiting some Cheo artist families to study basic understand of this Traditional Art. Enjoy with a show of Cheo Theater in the Village Pagoda. Arrive Hai Phong City. Dinner and O/N in Hai Phong.

Day 6: Hai Phong – Halong – Hanoi - Hue ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel, visit to the center garden and Nghe temple, Hang Kenh pagoda in Hai Phong city. Transfer to Ha Long city. Boarding wooden junk, a seafood meal on board for lunch, Halong bay sightseeing, visit to Thien Cung grotto and Dau Go cave. Back to Hanoi. After dinner, transfer to the airport for flight to Hue. O/N in Hue.

Day 7: Hue ( B, L, D )

After breakfast, visit Khai Dinh king’s tomb and Tu Duc king's Tomb. After lunch, visit to great enclosure of Royal Citadel and Royal Palace, Temples build in 1802 and Dong Ba market for free shopping. Dinner and O/N in Hue.

Day 8: Hue ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel, boat trip on the Perfume River go up visit to Thien Mu Pagoda and Gia Long king's tomb. Back to the city for lunch. Afternoon visit: arena of royal, Thanh Toan covered bridge and Phu Mong Kim Long village. Dinner and enjoy the Hue traditional folk song. O/N in Hue.

Day 9: Hue – Hoi An ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Hoi An via Da Nang City and visit Champa Sculpture Museum. Arrive in Hoi An, check in hotel and lunch. Afternoon visit: Hoi An ancient Town, Japanese bridge, Old house, Chinese Congress hall and museum. Free for night walking in the street of thousands lanterns reflecting on the water of Hoai River. Dinner and O/N in Hoi An

Day 10: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hochiminh ( B, L, D )

After breakfast, boat cruise on Hoai River visit Kim Bong carpenter village, walk to Cam Kim village to visit mat weaving families, ricepaper work-shop. Continue by boat to visit Thanh Ha ceramic village. Lunch and then transfer to Da Nang Airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner and O/N in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: Hochiminh city tour ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel. Moring visit: War Remnant Museum, Reunification Palace, Center Post office, Notre Dam Cathedral, then pass by People Committee Hall and walk around Ben Thanh market. After lunch, visit Giac Vien Pagoda, China Town and Binh Tay market. Dinner and O/N Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12: Hochiminh – MeKong – Hochiminh ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ben Tre. Visit to Caodai Holy See in Ben Luc. Arrive at Ben Tre and take a boat trip on canals, passing through the forest of coconut plants and mangrove along canals visit some villages and local families, kindergarten, communal house, candy workshop and walk in the garden of coconuts and arroyos. Lunch, and then visit to Vinh Trang pagoda in My Tho. Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner and O/N in Hochiminh city.

Day 13: Departure ( B )

After breakfast, transfer to the airport. End of service.
